I apologize for being late in my weekly update, in case you have not heard, I had an eventful weekend in the BWCA. On Friday evening I cut the back of my hand and upon my return spent 5 hours in the ER Saturday night. I currently have 3 stitches and a splint on my left hand (making it very challenging to type) and am seeing a hand specialist today at 12:30pm.
CONGRATULATIONS to ALL of the runners on an impressive showing at the NWSC Championship Meet last week!! Our Varsity Team was 4th our of 13 teams and our JV Team WON with an INCREDIBLE score of 24. What an amazing race to take 1st & 2nd place in the JV race, way to go Louis & Nolan!!!

Armstrong/Osseo Mile Time Trial - Wednesday, 10/21/26
Our meet for the week will be the mile time trial with Osseo High School (boys & girls). We have done this for a number of years and it is a really fun event!! We get to host it this year so it is even easier for friends and family to attend. We could use some help with snacks, please check out this SignUpGenius Link to see how you can get involved. Information on the schedule and heats can be found on the AHS CC 2026 - Meet Line-Ups google sheet. HS students will be excused at 2:45pm and gather on the track at 3:00pm. MS students will need to be excused at 2:40pm with a note and will walk over to AHS to gather on the track at 3:00pm.
Grade-Level Meet - Monday, 10/26/26 - Bassett Creek Park
The final meet of the year for our JV Runners will be Monday, 10/26/26 at Bassett Creek Park. Line-ups will be posted later this week so runners know what day they are racing. We host this meet and it is our primary fundraiser for the season. We need your help!!! You can volunteer at this meet and still see the race, please check out the Lefty Wright Grade Level Meet Sign Up Genius Page for ways to get involved. Information will be posted for runners/spectators on the AHS CC 2026 - Meet Line-Ups google sheet as it becomes available.
Section 6AAA Meet - Wednesday, 10/28/26 - Gale Woods Farm
This meet is for Varsity Runners only with select runners joining the team as alternates, seniors, or future varsity runners. Runners not riding the bus are welcome to drive out on their own to cheer on the team. Information will be posted on the AHS CC 2026 - Meet Line-Ups google sheet as it becomes available.
