Is not Is. 9:6 Proof for the divinity of Jesus?

How shall we understand Is. 9:6? God's son is called there "Everlasting Father" etc..., but in John 17 Christ says, that the Father is the only true God. When one mention's this, the above given text is referred to. Will not God's son make all things right and then the kingdom over to the Father as it says in I Cor 15 ? How then can Christ be the "true God and the Father"?

Answer: Professor Myrberg's translation of Is. 9:6 answers the question. he says: " A child has been born for us, a son has been given to us, upon whose shoulders the government is placed, and his name is called by the wonderful counselor, the might God, the Father of eternity: the prince of peace for increasing of the government" etc... This is correct and corresponds with the whole scriptures testimony about Jehovah and His son. The chapter deals with Christ's work of restoration, and when he has finished the Father's plan, so that even death is rooted out from God's creation and no cause for pain is fuound anymore, then God will receive the kingdom again and dwell here among His people as God and Father of the people forever. God has no other gods according to His own words in EX. 20:3 . Those who make the Son into God deny the Almighty Father of life.
