Last year, Lauren Villaverde, a MHS alumnus and graduate from Lehigh University, came and gave a talk about industrial engineering and entrepreneurship (about her presentation). She has been designing an educational product, called Stackablz, that consists of animal and geometric puzzles that help children develop spatial skills, which is the capability to understand spatial relationships among objects.
Lauren's product, Stackablz, is currently on an incubator (an incubator is an organization that helps speed of the growth of a startup company) website called JazWings. If she garners enough votes within the next 79 days, JazWings will start a crowdfunding campaign around her product. Then, if the crowdfunding campaign is successful, JazWings may even buy her product and develop it into a big brand.
