STEM Board at Funfest Festival

STEM Board Brings STEM to Funfest Festival

Montgomery STEM Board hosted a booth at the Montgomery Funfest this past Sunday at the Princeton Airport. We had a variety of activities going on at our booth. Environmental club had a trash toss in which players would through trash into different containers depending the type of trash being thrown in while the Engineer club handed out catapult-making kits. The MakerSpace displayed the homemade robots and electronic devices, Techsters coordinated an unplugged activity, and iGEM had a candy-plasmid-making activity. Along with these activities, we displayed some other electronic devices such as the Science Olympiad's electrical vehicle. It was great seeing so many kids, teenagers, and even adults be interested in STEM!
