Meeting Notes
August 30, 2010
The committee agreed on the following initiatives regarding the Main Stage Productions:
Include one original production in each season
Reduce the number of ensemble produced main stage productions
Include a production from another theatre company in the main stage season
Include a “METX” slot in the season – This could include ensemble school performances, one- person shows, comedy troupes, etc.
Develop a process for selecting original works to be created
Hire a production manager/technical director
Increase main stage salaries to equity scale for small professional theatres
Schedule a post mortem for each show and for the season
Next meeting: 4:30 PM September 13 at Suzanne’s. Subsequent meetings will be held at 7:30.
