Recommendations for the Fun Company

Continue to build audiences, especially for the evening performances

Better coordinate set design with main stage productions, perhaps use the same designer

Solicit funding for after school program

Create an apprenticeship program that creates a pathway to the ensemble

Continue to emphasize production values

Determine a minimum # of rehearsal hours

Advertise in local family and children’s magazines

Solicit scripts from college playwrighting programs

Make sure that the Fun Company has photo shoots for each production as well as the main season shoot

Infuse ensemble values in Fun Company productions

In addition to these specific recommendations for the Fun Company, there were the following:

Require each ensemble member to assume some role in one of the programs other than main stage.

Create more cohesion between ensemble and Fun Company

Infuse ensemble values in all MET programs.
