Underhand Strike

Prep K and Kindergarten:

**I can use proper weight transfer when striking a ball underhand.

1^st and 2^nd Grade:

*I can use smooth, continuous motion while striking a 6-10 inch lightweight ball, 3 consecutive times.

3rd Grade:

*I can strike a ball so it reaches a height of at least 7 feet and travels a distance that meets or exceeds the following 40 feet.

4^th and 5th Grade:

**I can strike a ball so it reaches a height of at least 7 feet, travels a distance that exceeds the performance standards and lands in 1 or 2 10 foot square targets marked on the floor, 3 consecutive times.
