Regular Push-Ups: 4th and 5th Grade
(Triceps and Forearm Extensors)
1. Lie face down on floor.
2. Palms flat on floor in line with armpits and slightly wider than shoulder-width.
3. Feet are hip-width apart and on floor, toes flexed.
4. Push upper body off floor by fully extending elbows and balancing on toes, legs straight, while keeping a straight line from the neck to ankles.
5. Support body weight on toes and fully extend arms.
6. Keep body straight; lower the chest by bending elbows until chest is within 3 inches of floor. Elbows should point backward toward hips.
