Not about the outcome, but the process. Instead of saying I will earn a 7 in Math this semester, try I will spend 30 minutes every day doing math problems. Notice the difference?

Goal setting matters:

  • People who actively think about their goals are 42% more likely to achieve them than those who do not.

  • This jumps up to 60% if they write them down.

  • Add 4 more pertange points if you send them to a friend.

  • But jump to 76% if you check in with that friend once a week about your goal.
