Esther Application

        1) What can you learn from the lives of each of the main characters of this historical event? Review what you have listed about Esther and Mordecai. Have you ever realized that you too have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?   What are the good works that God would have you do? Read John 15:16 and Ephesians 2:8-10.

        2) Have you thought about why Mordecai was unwilling to bow before Haman? Have you "bowed" to someone or        something and in so doing compromised your calling and position as a child of God? read Galatians 1:10.

        3) Esther and Mordecai relied heavily on fasting to turn the tide of events. What about you?
