Turning Work In

There are many options here. However, you really want to think about how you want students to turn in their work. If you're not careful This could turn into a disaster and totally fill up your email inbox. Below you will find two different approaches to how to handle this. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. So ultimately you'll have to decide which you will use for a particular assignment.

Google Forms

    • Create form with fields for:

      • Name: Last, First

      • Drop Down for hour

      • Assignment Title (only really need if you're going to use one form for all assignments)

      • Link

    • Students should also email their link to themselves

    • At the beginning of the hour email the link to your form to dcipadcart@divinechildhighschool.org

Email

    • CC to their own email address

      • Hour Number, Last Name, Keyword

        • If this is a collaborative work put the other names in the body of the email

      • Set up Filters in Gmail to put emails into a folder

        • Create a Filter for iPad Assignments - filter for From: dcipadcart@divinechildhighschool.org

        • Nest Filter for specific assignment under it - filter for Subject: Keyword

        • Can then simply sort by subject

    • Can “Archive” all the conversations to get them out of the way
