Questions and quick tips.
Screen Resolution - When you attach your computer to a projector you may need to adjust the screen resolution in the display settings. This is definitely true for Macs. The first time to hook up to a particular projector the resolution is set really low by default.
For Copy and Paste: Click and hold until a magnifying glass appears, move your finger till the cursor is where you want it. You can change the selection highlighting by grabbing the handles and dragging them.
Religion - So far Janinne and Mary Pat have used the cart more than the rest of the teachers combined. I’ll ask them to share:
How they’ve used the iPads - Mostly they've been used to read articles on the internet. Nothing too innovative, but, "If you've ever used the netbooks to do this you know these are 100 times better than that."
Problems they’ve had - Each teacher is really going to have to work out how they hand the iPads out. If students are given a chance to choose their own number the won't just pick the next one. They will look over the list until they find a number they like. Janinne now assigns specific numbers to students and this speeds things up dramatically.
