Dinosaur Week! Thursday, May 14th Art Challenge

Today we are going to build a dinosaur habitat. National Geographic defines a habitat as: "A habitat is a place where an organism makes its home. A habitat meets all the environmental conditions an organism needs to survive." The second video below has a lot of information about all types of dinosaurs and where they lived.

To build a habitat, Mrs. Buchner used the stegosaurus drawing made yesterday, a box, paper, glue, clay, oil pastels and some items collected from nature for the plants in the habitat.

While you are at home you can still share your artwork with Mrs. Buchner! Here's a quick and easy way to do it:

• Ask Mom or Dad to take a picture with their phone.
