Monday, March 30 Art Challenge

Your challenge today is to try paper quilling, which is using of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. You will need glue, scissors and paper. Different colored paper is good. You can even use the pages of an old magazine. In the video, Mrs. Buchner made flowers but you can make anything you would like!

Challenge: Make a picture using paper quilling.

While you are at home you can still share your artwork with Mrs. Buchner! Here's a quick and easy way to do it:

• Ask Mom or Dad to take a picture with their phone.
• Text the picture to mbuchner@desoto.k12.wi.us. Yes, you can text to an e-mail. (Of course you can also e-mail it). I will be sharing art from kids in upcoming videos.
