Driftless Art Festival

The Driftless Art Festival is held every September in Soldiers Grove, WI. This outdoor art event features the work of 80 professional artists as well as live music and food. There is also a student art display.

KidsArt Gallery

The KidsArt Gallery celebrates the next generation of artists and is a popular feature of the Driftless Area Art Festival. The purpose of the Youth Art program is to applaud and encourage the creativity of area students. The Kids’ Creativity Zone makes the tent a popular destination where kids can enjoy FREE face painting, snacks and art activities. 

Art Competition

The work of elementary and middle school students from all parts of the Driftless Area is invited to be displayed and judged. Each school can enter only 25 pieces of art which must be mounted and/or framed.

Last year, there were over 500 pieces of art from four different counties and ten schools. Art is judged by a panel of professional artists and a first place award is given in four different categories: 1-3 grade, 4-5 grade, 6 - 8th grade and sculpture.
