Welcome to Mrs. Sayegh's Website.
English Language Learners
Ell students have an extremely challenging job. Some ELL students come into the classroom speaking little or no English at all. Some have no exposure to the English language, which creates a barrier once the child enters the classroom. There is nothing more rewarding, to a teacher, than hearing those students speak their first words, phrases, and sentences in English; to see their confidence grow and their new language develop. How can educators better help ELL students?
