My Life:
I was born in Yonkers, NY and lived there most of my life. I attended Valhalla College, and Mercy College in New York state. I then met my husband Fred of 30 years, began a family with my beautiful twins Pascal (boy) and Nevean (girl) then decided to move to Danbury. Here I entered WCSU to finish my BS in Education and finally reached that goal in 2008 when I graduated with honors and a 4.0 GPA; with a major in Elementary Education/English. I was fortunate enough to take a long-term sub position at my present school, Pembroke Elementary School. At the end of the 2009 school year I was called for an interview and I was hired for the fifth grade position. At that point my dream came true of being in a classroom to impact students' lives academically and socially. Teaching to me will always be a passion--never a job.
I continued to attend both WCSU and SCSU to complete my Master's Degree and finally that was accomplished in May 2014. It is a great feeling to be done...however, I see more schooling in my future :) Guess what there was. I began my 6th year in Educational Leadership at University of Bridgeport in 2019 and in June 2020 I have successfully completed and received my degree. Now do you think there will be more schooling in my life??????? Hmmmmmm!!!:)
