World Geography is a full year social studies elective that is open to 9th-12th grade students. World Geography is a survey of the Earth's geography and how that geography has shaped human culture, world issues, the environment, and economic decision making. World Geography discusses the world as it is in the present, and how space, environment, and culture merge to create the diversity that humans experience today. Students interested in modern world concepts and analysis of the Earth's surface with a more scientific viewpoint should consider World Geography.
