Leadership for Life II is a semester elective course that continues the concepts taught in Leadership I. Leadership II puts into practice the skills taught in Leadership I, with an emphasis on working in teams, executing projects, and goal setting. Students will focus on collaboration, study diversity, and participate in a student exchange with Thornton High School. The course ends with the students designing a presentation for the student body.

Semester 1
Unit 1: Discovering Personal Strengths
Objective: Discover how to recognize and develop your Unique Strengths
Field Trip: Camp Sunrise Teambuilding
Unit 2: Leading in a Diverse World
Objective: Understand how biases and experiences shape our perceptions and
interactions as leaders
Unit 3: Qualities of an Effective Leader
Objective: Identity the qualities of an effective leader with a focus on time management
and Conflict resolution
Semester 2
Unit 4: Creating a Vision; How to set and Achieve Goals
Objective: using time management and prioritizing in order to achieve your goals
Unit 5: Principle Centered Leadership
Objective: identifying and using personal values to guide your Leadership decisions
Field Trip: Student Exchange with Thornton High School
Unit 6: Leadership in Action, Utilizing Leadership Skills
Objective: Participate in a highly effective, competitive team environment while
demonstrating skills covered in the course
