- The school and community engage in a systematic, inclusive, and comprehensive process to review, revise, and communicate a school purpose for student success through the Beatrice Public Schools' Strategic Plan.
- Provides the district and Beatrice High School a clear purpose, builds a strong collaborative community, and establishes a foundation and direction for moving forward with focus.
- Leaders and staff, through a culture of frequent collaboration, deliberately and consistently align their decisions to the district's strategic plan to achieve the school's purpose and direction.
- Provides a focus in decision making, an alignment of practices, and a culture of collaboration. It serves as a universal and consistent reference point for leaders and staff regarding the direction of the school district.
Required Actions
- Develop and systematically implement a continuous improvement process which directly connects and reflects the Beatrice Schools' Strategic Plan.
- The development and systematic implementation of a continuous improvement plan should be developed by staff with documented action plans that include measurable objectives, powerful strategies, engaging activities, the best use of resources, and timelines
- Engage in a systematic continuous improvement process to determine verifiable improvement in school effectiveness and utilize data driven decisions based upon multiple sources including local, state, and national data.
- A defined systematic approach to school improvement for all staff members to understand and routinely evaluate data will move BHS forward in creating verifiable goals for all stakeholders.
