Q&A.
Q: How often is the camera info updated?
A: Camera info is authored by POI Factory, and updates are published every week.
Q: What cameras are in my area?
A: You can use "show nearby cameras" feature to see where you'll receive camera alerts in your area.
Q: Is alerting on camera approach legal?
A: Yes, totally legal. The only known country with legal constraints is France. But we are talking about USA & Canada here, right? :)
Q: Will camera alerts work when I don't have an internet connection?
A: Yes, camera info is available locally on a device.
Q: Can I report camera changes?
A. Absolutely! Visit www.poi-factory.com to report a change. Then see changes automatically getting back into Speedometer with the next weekly update! It's not instant, but that's because the guys from POI Factory need to validate and fine-tune the details before they're published for all camera subscribers.
Subscription process relies on communication with the AppStore. If it fails at any moment due to connection or other problems, please have no worries; you'll never be charged twice or lose access to US & Canada cameras. Simply use a "Restore subscription" button if you believe the subscription process has completed, or just use the "SUBSCRIBE" button again. Apple will never let you subscribe or pay twice; just be sure to use the same AppleID.
