This page is getting ready for the public 1.8.2 release. Until the public release you can use new cost, fuel and driving range monitoring function in beta version.
Cost monitor.
#1 - When fuel monitoring is switched on, shows fuel left in the tank.
#2 - When fuel monitoring is switched on, shows expected driving range.
#3 - Can show either fuel spent since the last counters reset or fuel price.
One can say these fuel monitoring functions is a gimmick. But based on veteran car owners requests and just these users whose dash stopped working, this should be a welcome addition.
