Welcome to the biology resource website. 

Biology is the study of living things and their ability to grow, reproduce, and adapt to their environment. Students will focus on the interdependence of organisms and the complexity of all living things. Living things contain specific structures, processes, and systems that allow them to survive throughout the varied ecosystems on Earth. Students will participate in lectures, online activities, discussions and reading assignments. Also, students will use detailed observation of living things through field research, laboratory experimentation, simulation, and modeling to further their understanding of life science. The major themes of this course will include cellular chemistry and energy, genetics and heredity, biotechnology, evolution, and biodiversity.
