Course materials:
Our statistical software is StatKey, It is a free statistics software package, prepared by our text's authors. Many videos and other information are available from that website.
Title and authors of our textbook with online materials: Statistics: Unlocking the Power of Data, by Lock, Lock, Lock-Morgan, Lock, and Lock. 2nd ed. 2017 Wiley Publishing Company.
The main textbook materials are online. Information about how to access those online materials is posted in your Blackboard course. now. You have free access to that for 14 days after you sign up and then you have to pay for it. In order to remain in the class, be sure to pay for it before your free access period ends.
The book is not sold separately from the online materials. The online materials are required in our course because they contain MANY things to help you study, including videos of every example in the text and overview videos as well.
The least expensive way to purchase it is to sign up for a free two-week trial of the online book and then, after you get started in it, decide whether you want to purchase a copy of the physical book for an additional $45 in addition to the cost ($90) of continuing in the online materials.
It is also possible to purchase the materials at the ACC bookstore for $155 (price in July 2018.) It cannot be returned after the package is opened. It has a copy of the physical book (looseleaf, with holes punched, so that you put it in a binder) and a code for access to WileyPlus.
If you plan to purchase this from the bookstore, please wait until after you have begun the free online access, so that you can install it and set it up before you spend money on it. Also, that will give you the opportunity to more accurately assess what formats (online, paper, e-book) you want to purchase.
