The world is constantly changing, but the Christian faith remains the same. Join us at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church as we explore and grow in the ancient teachings of Christ's Church with our first annual series of Catechetical Services. We want to share our Lutheran, evangelical, catholic, and orthodox faith and practice with you, our neighbors! Services begin Wednesday, September 9. Join us at 6 pm for fellowship and fun and learn with us at 7 pm as we go through the basic articles of our Lutheran faith.

During The Service of Prayer and Preaching in September we will examine the Ten Commandments and their importance in the life of a Christian in shaping our relationship with God and with our neighbor.

October Vespers will focus on the Apostles' Creed, the 2nd century confession of the Christian faith that lays out the biblical understanding of the Holy Trinity and the three persons of the Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

As we pray Compline In November we will examine the Lord's Prayer and learn what it means to pray from He whose life, death, and resurrection allows us to stand before God Almighty in prayer and petition.

November ends the Church year and sees the beginning of another year in Christ as we celebrate the Advent season. Join us for Advent Evening Prayer and the Solas of the Christian faith as we prepare to receive the Christ child alone for our salvation in the Feast of the Nativity of our Lord. December 17-23 we will gather nightly for the "O Antiphons" Vespers in preparation for Christmas Eve Evening Prayer, Midnight Mass, and the Feast of the Resurrection Divine Service on Christmas morning.
