Something for Dawn

We go around like twins

in different towns.

Driving in trucks

decorated with nature's things,

loving our dogs as children,

and our friends as family,

and our family as friends.

I miss you, my opposite mirror;

your dragons and heroes and lore.

I miss your smile and the way

you laugh with your whole self.

I honor all things wild and unpopular

and myhtic...all things that resist odds and

repel culture - culture anyway is the spit of

oysters.

I miss you Dawn. I am looking forward to everything

that reminds me of you, and then - when this life is

through with me - to you.
