概要(Course Description

This seminar course is designed to write a graduation thesis. Students are expected to explore broad research topics and research methods in the public management field. Based on each student’s research interest, they will find their research questions and topics, review previous literature on the topics, select appropriate research methods, collect and analyze data, and finish writing the thesis. Various topics relating to public management, public human resource management, and public policy could be covered in this class, such as leadership, organizational culture, performance management, public service motivation, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention, merit system, corruption, and whistleblower protection. The current students are working on the following topics.

 

-         Poverty in Japan and India

-         Success and Failure of Compact City Planning

-         Job Satisfaction of Private Employees

-         The Difference of Government Measurement in Dealing with Covid-19 from the Viewpoint of Economy

-         Corona’s Influence on the Music Industry

-         People’s Change Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic

-         How Sport Participation Influences on Depression or Happiness During Covid-19 Pandemic?

-         Consumer Awareness of Sustainable Fashion in Japan

-         Understanding Consumer’s Behavior of Second -hand Clothing Store

-         The Impact of Viral Marketing on the Consumption Activity
