概要(Course Description)

Second-year students will learn basic topics of business management widely at the seminar class. Those topics include: What is management?; What is an organization?; What is globalization?; multinational corporations; diversity at work; organizational culture; strategic management; organizational design and structure; organizational behavior; human resource management; operations management; What is a break-even point? and so forth.

Third-year students will learn theories of international management. International management refers to the act of managing international business organizations including large-size, multinational corporations (MNCs) and small- and medium-size enterprises (SEMs) doing business overseas. Although the concepts and theories international management and domestics management have much in common, they are different in many respects.

Fourth-year students will learn advanced theories of general and international organizations and management. Students will study their chosen topic of management and organizations and be required to complete their graduation theses or 卒業論文.

Teamwork is valued. Thus, students are required to cooperate with each other and exercise teamwork at this seminar class.
