Honors:

The course provides students with an in-depth study of the structure of the Supreme Court and the role it plays in impacting the development of political, economic, social, educational, and religious growth of the citizens of the United States. Instruction focuses on the following topics: governance structure of the United States Supreme Court, the relationship of the United States Supreme Court to State courts, and the major decisions enacted by the United States Supreme Court and the impact of these decisions on the lives of United State citizens. Students are expected to have Internet access to be able to complete individual and collaborative assignments / projects.
