TUES 8/23 - What should be the goals of government? Is a government necessary? Describe the requirements and origins of a state. - Examine the various forms of government and the basic fundamentals of a democracy


WED 8/24 - Explain the 6 principles of the U.S. Constitution


THURS 8/25 - Identify the 27 formal amendments.


FRI 8/26 - Finish the Amendments – Describe the other ways the U.S. Constitution has been and can be changed.


MON 8/29 & TUES 8/30 - Analyze how the federal and state governments cooperate and state governments cooperate. (seat belts, No Child Left Behind, Full Faith and Credit)


WED 8/31 – Wrap-up and Review
