FRI 9/30 – Examine what makes a “Great” president. What do you think are the qualities needed to be a “Great” president? Why? Explain the process of electing the president.

MON 10/3 – Describe the Electoral College. What are the advantages and disadvantages of keeping the Electoral College as our system of electing our president? How should we elect our president? Due TUES 10/4

TUES 10/4 – Discuss the 5 categories of presidential power.

WED 10/5 – Analyze the growth of the Federal bureaucracy. Why has it grown and has it been for the betterment of the country? – Describe the independent agencies in the federal government and what role they play in our life.

THURS 10/6 - finish discussion on independent agencies

TUES 10/11 - Test Unit 4 – ESSAY – Examine the 22nd Amendment. (two term rule) Explain 1 reason why we should keep it and 1 reason it should be abolished. Which side do you support and why?
