• Worldwide has so many students, but they don’t pack a lot of students in a classroom. 

• They have about 13-15 pp in a class. Whole building is renovated with beautiful furniture.

• They have their own cafe 

• They will open a new campus soon and their capacity will be 480 students

• Seems struggling… Their Wellington campus won’t open next 1-3 years.

CLC/AEA

• It is full of Chinese in IELTS class, and 25-30 pp in a class .

• Maximum of 6 weeks of Holidays every 12 weeks of class

Carola's feedback:

I took a tour at Impact Brisbane yesterday and after it, I had a short meeting with Santiago. I will leave here the comments about the school and our performance:

• Impact is really happy with all the team and YTP results. They said it's really easy working with us.

• Santiago showed me YTP numbers and if I'm not wrong we sold around 1,200 weeks of English in 2022. He told me our numbers are great and his goal in the next two weeks is talking to his manager to increase YTP commission. @Krizia, he asked me if you could get in touch with him to talk about it.

• Impact offered to launch a scholarship to increase onshore students sales. He is open to proposals but he suggested to offer a Barista+ English scholarship or a Cambridge scholarship. @Magda is already aware of it.

My impression of the school was really good. I'll do a summary of the things I like the most:

• The school is in a very good location. Close to coffee shops, public transport, Brisbane river and Student One accommodation.

• They're really strict with the English only policy, even at the breaks. If the student gets caught more than 2-3 times talking another language different from English the get sent home that day. Of course, they get a few warnings first.

• The nationality mix is great. There are many students from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, LATAM, Spain, etc.

• They offer a Barista+ English course where students can practise for hospitality interviews and they have a workplace at Impact Café.

• The staff is lovely. I met the Campus Director and the Academic Manager as well. They told me if students have any complain, they're always happy to have an advising session with them and Santiago and talk about the students performance and study plan.

INFORUM

• Maximum of 4 weeks of Holidays every 12 weeks of class if both courses are the same. 

• We can request for 8 weeks if the courses are different. Example:

• 24 weeks of GE - 4 weeks of Holidays - 12 weeks of GE + 4 weeks of Holidays + 12 weeks of GE

• 12 weeks of GE + 12 weeks of IELTS/Cambdridge - 8 weeks of Holidays: 12 weeks of GE + 8 weeks of Holidays + 12 weeks of IELTS/Cambridge

ELSIS

• Maximum of 6 weeks of Holidays for a 24 weeks study plan

• Maximum of 8 weeks of Holidays for a 36 weeks study plan

ELC

• 4  weeks of Holidays  every 24 weeks : 12 weeks  of class + 4 weeks of Holidays + 12 weeks of class

• Maximum 12 weeks of Holidays, studying 36, but they recommend 8.

SCIC

• 4 weeks of Holidays every 12 weeks of course. (We can try 6 as an exception). 

NOVA

• 4 weeks of Holidays every 24 weeks.

MERCURY

• 4 weeks of Holidays every 24 weeks.

AUSTRALIA CITY DESIGN

•  Todos los estudiantes tienen 1 semana de vacaciones cada 5 semanas de estudio, por lo que el estudiante tendrá 4 semanas de vacaciones por 24 semanas de matrícula. Si el estudiante se matricula y continua sus estudios durante Nov-Dec, tendrá 2 semanas más de vacaciones por las vacaciones de Navidad. 

ALLIANCE

• 12 semanas de estudio + 6 semanas de vacaciones + 12 semanas de estudio para GE.

Para EAP 4 semanas. 

EXPLORE ENGLISH MELBOURNE

• para estudiantes Europeos – nivel 1, lo máximo serian 6 semanas; podemos aceptar 8 semanas de vacaciones cuando la matricula se extiende después de las vacaciones de Navidad, porque la escuela cierra por 2 semanas, entonces serian 2 semanas fijas y las otras 6 que el estudiante puede sacar cuando quiera.
