Professional indemnity cover
It is a condition of re-enrolment that the student agrees to maintain Professional Indemnity Insurance. As an apprentice your employer is required to sign the following declaration within the training plan prior to commencement on the programme:
8. Provide a working environment that meets current health and safety legislation to enable their learner to work and learn safely for the duration of the apprenticeship.
9. Ensure that there is professional indemnity in place, and that this professional indemnity will apply to external placements.
