Ride with Broken Gears
I came across my dad's old bike in my barn and thought it would fit the criteria of this assignment since the gears have been broken for years. I like how the bike is leaning on old window frames as they fit the tone of the whole barn's atmosphere. I also thought the lighting was interesting
Look on the Bright Side
When I first thought of what to photograph for this topic, the first thought that came to mind was my barn. I went to the back of my barn to take a photo of all the old and messy furniture, machines, and tools. I decided to focus the camera on this dusty lampshade. It's ironic since there is no working light source in the barn.
The Pipe That Leads to Nowhere
I was looking at the dead bushes in my garden when I noticed this pile of bricks at one of the corners of my house. I thought having the pipe hanging from the top of the frame catches your eye. I also think the moss as well as the red and gray rust or discoloration on the side of my house adds to the decaying effect of this assignment.
Glass Half FullÂ
I broke one of my mocha glasses on some rocks since I thought that would fit the topic of destruction. I thought it'd be cool to almost put the pieces back together but also have it far enough so you can tell the glass is broken. I also put the glass pieces partially in the snow so that it's half full of snow.
