Purpose:
To push your creative thinking,
To practice photographing on a regular basis,
To continue to learn how your camera/mobile device works and interacts with varying light/subject/situations.
To get in close to the subject so that it abstracts it.
Kitchen Wall
My kitchen has painted tiles for some parts of the wall. I like how they are all like puzzle pieces and connect so I thought it would make a good subject as a close up.
Horse Fence
During February break, my dogs went to get haircuts at a place where the dog groomer owned horses. It was a cold morning, so the horses were not adamant about moving from their spots. Since it was difficult to get close to the horses, I decided to just zoom in on the gate that separated me from them.
Transition to Spring
One day after school I saw some decaying flowers on the sidewalk in puddles. There may still be some snow in the back but ultimately I think the sight of grass, flowers, and puddles are good signs of spring approaching.
