During May 2026, our school had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from Poland as part of our international exchange programme. Their visit provided a wonderful opportunity for all the students to meet, collaborate, and learn from one another while experiencing different cultures within the European community.
Throughout their stay, the students participated in a wide range of engaging and cooperative activities. These included team-building Physical Education games, cultural and school presentations, interactive Kahoot quizzes, collaborative classroom tasks, and many other activities designed to encourage communication, teamwork, and friendship. English served as the common language, allowing students from both countries to communicate effectively, improve their language skills, and gain confidence in using English in authentic situations.
The visit was a highly enriching experience for everyone involved. Students had the opportunity to work together in cooperative teams, develop new friendships, exchange ideas, and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures. They also experienced first-hand the importance of respect, inclusion, collaboration, and effective communication—key values that underpin European citizenship.
This partnership will continue during the 2026–2027 academic year, when our future Year 6 students will have the exciting opportunity to visit our partner school in Poland during the third term. We are looking forward to strengthening the bonds established during this visit and continuing to provide our students with meaningful international learning experiences that promote cultural awareness, language learning, and the shared values of the Erasmus+ programme.
The Polish school created this presentation to explain their experience in our country!
During the school year 2026 - 2027 students from Year 6 will participate in an Erasmus + mobility to Warsaw (Poland).
