MATHEMATICS (INCLUSIVE)

Today our first lesson was Maths (inclusive setting) with Julian and two supporting teachers (Erwin and Esma). In this inclusive setting students have 3 teachers in the classroom twice a week and 1 lesson a week with two teachers (sometimes they split this class into two halves).

They use the GeoGebra software in their computers and the always-needed notebook, so that writing skills are developed.

Students have been working with square and rectangular shapes.

GEOMETRY

In the second lesson (starting at 9:00) we reviewed some Geometry concepts for the near-coming test in class 2C with Andreas and Cigdem (supporting teacher).

These students get 3 lessons with two teachers and one lesson with one teacher.

LearningApps.org was used. Students log into the platform to use their task on their computer or mobile phone and submit their results to the teacher.

BIOLOGY (MINT)

At 11:00 we joined Cavkic Mirzet with his MINT Biology class. There were 22 children from 13 to 14 years old in the room. In that class, students learned the difference between the blood cell and the vegetal cell using the microscope. Apart from that, they used some Virtual Reality software to build their digital competence.

IT

At 12:00 we joined Andreas with his MINT IT class. There were 12 children from 11 to 12 years old in the room.

In that class, students learned to use the paint.net software, and they modified the layers of a picture.
