GERMAN FOR FOREIGNERS

At 10:00 we joined Kristine with her German for Foreigners class. She had 2 children who recently arrived from Ukraine, 1 child from Brazil and 1 child from Irak. Each one has their own mother tongue and are making a great effort to learn German and join their reference class as quick as possible!

TEXTILE AND TECHNICAL

At 11:00 we were in Tanja's Textile and Technical lesson. Students were working on felt fluffy crafts in the shape of veggies. They had written article codes on the package and they want to sell the products in a street market.

VOCATIONAL ORIENTATION

At 12:00 we were in Kristine's Vocational Orientation class for 3rd graders (12-13 year-olds). Kristine had the in-class support of the Maths teacher, who speaks Turkish and liaises with this class' families about the Orientation needs of students in this grade.

  • Students had to reflect on their future objectives and their values. Then they had to draw a Life Tree with branches, trunk and roots.
