DAY 1

May 16, 2022

A HUGE DIVERSITY OF LANGUAGES

  • The school building is in the 15th city district. They wish they had bigger facilities, so one thing that has caught our attention is that students have their break in the corridors!

  • School students have a multiethnic background - 23 different languages are spoken in the school!

SPANISH GEOGRAPHY

The first lesson we have been invited to is a CLIL Geography lesson taught by the Geography teacher and a native Spanish teacher, Laura.

Students have reviewed the location of some Spanish cities and their distribution into Autonomous Regions!

IT

The second lesson we have been to is Daniel's IT lesson. 4th graders (14-year-old students) have been programming with Scratch.

  • In this class, students explore and find different ways of using Scratch.

  • The atmosphere in the class is very good and dynamic, promoting IT learning.
