Simply put, heartfelt! The biggest differentiating factor was the warmth with which I was welcomed and eased into the project. It was an immense learning experience. Expectations from me were clearly communicated that made the overall experience very smooth.

To summarise, the culture is people-driven. Weekly feedback and well-being calls are the norm, with an open communication policy. You are given time to settle in, post which you are also expected to take complete ownership of the module you are working in.

My top 3 learnings from my internship experience were:

1) Communication is the key.

2) Stakeholder Management: - Understanding the expectations of the other person is extremely important

3) You realize the potential impact of what you are doing, once you get to be a part of a Steer Co.

I could have been more open to asking for help from seniors with the firm in tricky situations or where I was stuck.

We consulted a QSR on their organization redesign strategy. It was a novel domain for me, but right from Day 1 all my opinions are suggestions were given due consideration. This made me feel a core part of the project as well as the potential impact it will create
