What Lives Where We Live?

What can we find outside?

Stony Brook is located in Norfolk MA and is open throughout the entire year! This sanctuary and nature walk trail is perfect for kids and their family's. The trail is 2 miles long and their is over 100 acres of wildness at Stony Brook.

On April 22nd, I took a visit to this sanctuary to investigate the organisms that live right in our tri-town! I picked this place because it is right next to Wrentham where it is easy to get to and available for everyone to visit. I have been going to Stony Brook for over 20 years, since I was a child! I love how caring and nice everyone is when you visit Stony Brook. The community in the area is welcoming and friendly to all!

I took a variety of pictures of flowers, trees, plants and birds. I heard a number of different birds while I was the Stony Brook, I did not get pictures of every single bird I saw but I could hear and see them chirping and flapping their wings. I also heard bumble bees buzzing in the flowers. Sounded like they were working hard and preparing for the warm weather!
