"My experience with GCI has been incredibly inclusive!! I wish I knew other people’s opinions don’t matter. You should always do you and be creative!! You’ll be happier if you be yourself. Good luck grade 8’s."

P.s it’s not as scary as you think:)

"I find GCI is a safe place to just be who you are... I've never seen a school so dedicated to make sure all there students felt safe and well... I have really enjoyed my time at GCI so far, it was nice not having to having to hide myself. I am excited for the rest of my high school years to be spent at GCI."

"GCI is a great school with great teachers. You will make so many new friends and will never feel left out. There is so much to do here at GCI even with COVID-19. The teachers are really accepting and will help you through tough times and help you with your work! Hope to see you here next year!"

"My experience at GCI has been wonderful, one thing I wish I’d know though is to not stress about making friends. When the time comes you will find a group of people who love and support you, and the best way to do so is to just let it happen, they don’t always need to be tirelessly sought out."

"GCI is more than just a school! Different than any other school I went to, GCI is a unique place that combines education, diversity, and fun! Its welcoming environment always makes me feel comfortable and excited to learn new things everyday! I won't forget all the valuable moments I spent with all its unique and friendly students and teachers! <3 "

"My experience is going great. The teachers I have had through out these last couple years have been fantastic. They have been very kind and caring and seem to be very passionate about the subject they were teaching. The students are pretty chill too. You would think it would be awkward to ask for help on your first day and that your might get a mean response but that's most likely not the case."

"The first week was a little hard because school is really big. But the teachers and students here are really friendly and kind. They helped me a lot. GCI provides a lot of fun programs, for example, speech competition, drama club, volleyball team, and so on. Inclusion at GCI is really great and safe place to be in."

"Take your time with deciding what you want to do with your life, you have a lot of time. And don't focus on one thing, explore new stuff to see what you like."
