GCI's Tech Department

Galt Collegiate has excellent and extremely well equipped technological studies facilities. Their programs utilize current and up-to-date computer software while maintaining related industry standards.

There are two course offerings for students entering grade 9, shop based technologies and computer based technologies. Computer based technologies will appeal to students who like using computer applications for creative projects, while shop based technologies are for students that prefer more of a hands-on program.
