Book Displays
Book Displays
These displays are changed regularly. They hold a selection of books that are related to a topic or holiday that is relevant or might interest students. At this time it displays a selection of books that just arrived to the library.
The Character Corner
The Character Corner
This bookshelf contains an array of books that have been specially selected because of their relevance to our Character Programme. Students may choose to fill out a worksheet in response to one of these books and earn a House Point for their work.
IPC Bookshelf
IPC Bookshelf
This section of the library is dedicated to books that are relevant to the IPC units that students are currently working on. Teachers may check out these books to keep in their classroom or choose to leave them here for students to do some independent research or reading.
Levelled Reading Programme
Levelled Reading Programme
Students come in daily, or as often as possible, to change their Levelled Reading book. Younger students have their LA's to help them change their books but students from Primary 2 on have become responsible enough to change their books themselves.
Great Readers Wall
Great Readers Wall
Here we display the awards given to our students who have finished all of the books in the Levelled Reading Programme. When they reach this stage they become Free Readers and can choose their own reading book, which should not be the same as their regular library book.
