Primary at TWS
Welcome to Primary at The Wingate School. Please find your child's class by navigating the tabs above. Feel free to leave comments and stay up to date with what is going on in the classroom!
In the IPC classroom, we follow the Process to Facilitate Learning, also known as the IPC cycle. It is a 6 part cycle that consists of an entry point, knowledge harvest, explaining the theme, research activities, recording activities, reflection activities, and the exit point. This cycle places the pupil at the center of the learning experience and is a form of experiential learning. It is through thematic units and learning by doing that students can embody the Personal Learning Goals. Please read further to learn more about the 8 goals and also find tabs that will give you an inside look to Kinder, Character and Spanish.

The Personal Learning Goals
In every classroom at TWS you will find the Personal Learning Goals, which are characteristics that our students strive to embody. Please encourage and have conversations with your children at home about how they can achieve these goals.
How can you help?
Please check in with your students often about what they are learning in their classroom. Ask them about their weekly reflections or if there are any research projects you can help them with. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the IPC coordinator, Lara, via email at landrade@wingate.edu.mx. Thank you!
