Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
Wow! What a week we’ve had! While it may not have been as eventful as last week’s trip and Engineering Day, the children have truly impressed us with their growth over the past two terms. Their progress has been fantastic to see, and we couldn’t be prouder.
A real highlight was watching our video of the ball pit adventures—it sparked some incredible imaginative writing! In Maths, we’ve been revisiting place value and ordering numbers from smallest to greatest (and, as we always say, “greatest” doesn’t mean the best, just the biggest!).
In Science, we explored materials and investigated what would make the best umbrella. The children approached their experiments with enthusiasm, and their explanations were brilliant!
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
