I'm delighted to offer families at Willington an exciting opportunity that has been offered to us by the Learning Team at Wimbledon Tennis ahead of The Championships 2025! As a local school, we are eligible to participate in some special initiatives that will help our pupils to get into the spirit of Wimbledon this summer term, including an opportunity to enter the Family Ballot. Entering the Family Ballot means Willington families can apply to purchase tickets for family groups (up to groups of 5) and enjoy world-class tennis on the No.1 Court. This is a unique opportunity, as guests are normally limited to two tickets per household.

 How the ballot works:

• The link is: https://familyballot.wimbledon.com/

• Using the link, families will need to sign up to the 'MyWimbledon' app, and then you will be eligible to apply for tickets.

• Please note this website and the Family Ballot will only be live from Monday 24 March until 11.59pm on Monday 7 April. All entries must be made during this window.

Important information:

• Successful families will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for No.1 Court on Finals Weekend (Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July).

• Each ticket will range from £40-£60 in price.

• Families must be able to provide proof that your child attends Willington Prep. The full name of the school must be included in the application, as abbreviations will not be accepted.

• Unfortunately, ballot entry does not guarantee tickets.

• The initiative is designed to help more children to enjoy The Championships, so children (aged 5-16) must be part of the visiting group.
