Our ancient Greek studies were brought energetically to life in drama this week as we threw ourselves into freeze frames depicting Olympic events. There was a lot of wrestling! Meanwhile our Theseus work, complete with detailed illustrations, is nearly ready to be published. It looks amazing! We found out about daily life in ancient Greece and started to create informative posters on the different features of it, taking in areas such as clothes, trade, children and food and we will present them next week. We also learned about the conquests of Alexander the Great. We're tackling the column method of addition and researched animal diets on our Chromebooks as well as differentiating between types of skeleton. In French we learnt the names of family members, helped by catchy songs, and in RS sorted the books of the bible into the old and new testaments. We had huge fun creating graphic scores in music and reading and performing each others and were able to show off our growing sports skills competing in football and netball matches at Banstead. Another action packed week! Just one more until we have a well-deserved break but we're looking forward to our trip next week and to finishing off our topics ready to start brand new ones after the holidays.
