Music

Tuesday provided a great opportunity for our string-instrument players to visit Epsom College and participate in 'Strings Day' - a gathering of children from many Prep schools to form a string orchestra of over 100 people.  Several long rehearsals, a delicious lunch and snack, some playtime in the fields and a superb concert of musical selections from Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings made for 7 exhausted but proud young musicians!!  Special mention to Aemelia in Y4 who was the first ever Willington girl to participate in this annual event - I am sure she is the first of many.

Please complete the application form if your son or daughter would like to present a musical item in this event. It is always a popular concert, so get those applications in ASAP!
