It has been another fantastic week in the Art Department, with a special focus on three-dimensional creations!
Year 4 have completed their watercolour and continuous line drawings of trains, while Year 1 have enjoyed crafting clay leaves. Year 5 have been experimenting with collage and have started learning new modelling techniques to create clay doughnuts. Year 6 have been excited to use POSCA pens to develop some outstanding patterns in their African Art project, and Reception have been learning to form different shapes from plasticine. Year 2 have finished their work inspired by Yayoi Kusama, which has gathered admiration from other students as it is now displayed in the Art Room.
As it is the Harvest Festival, a big thank you goes to Noah, Joe, Samuel, and Aaron in Year 6 for their help in creating a banner.
It was also wonderful this week to learn more about the variety of careers available in the Arts from Rebecca Hamlin in our assembly on Monday!
Warm regards,
